Ruth Fordjour joined GLICO Capital in 2016 as an Investment Advisor and progressed to the position of Fund Manager. She holds MSc. Finance from University of Rennes Graduate School of Management (France) and a BSc. Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.
She obtained her Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Industry Certificate in 2015 and is currently licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Fund Manager’s Representative.
Ruth also holds a Certificate in Financial Modelling from Leoron Professional Institute (Dubai) and a Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate.
Christiana Obeng joined GLICO Capital in August 2019 as the Finance and Administrative Manager having previously had over ten years’ experience in Finance and Administration.
She is currently pursuing her MBA from the Australian Institute of Business as well as the Investment Representative’s course from the Ghana Stock Exchange.
She holds a Bachelor of Management degree from the University Of Cape Coast and a post-graduate Management Certificate from Australian Institute of Business (AIB).
Kwaku Achampong-Kyei holds a Master of Science in International Business (Finance) as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from HULT International Business School, London – UK.
During his time at HULT Business School, Kwaku worked under the institution’s action project program, where he worked as a consultant on market strategies for The Clorox Company (San Francisco -USA) and Lebara Money (London- UK).
He also progressively acquired knowledge and experience moving across departments as an Accounts and Finance Officer, Marketing Officer and a Management Trainee within the GLICO Group subsidiary companies.
He joined GLICO Capital as an Associate Director and has since risen over the years to his current position. Prior to joining GLICO Capital, he worked with Standard Chartered Bank Plc. (Ghana) where he rotated through Corporate Banking and the Group Special Asset Management Departments.
Kwaku Achampong-Kyei is also a Director of Zeepay Ghana limited.
Anthony Boadu is a Chartered Accountant par excellence.
Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director of the Company, he had worked for over twelve years in the banking industry as Credit Analyst, Head of Credit Analysis Department and Head of Corporate Department at Bank of Africa and Société Générale Bank, Ghana, where he proved his ability to enhance the operational efficiency, customer experience and ultimately profitability of the banks’ businesses.
His areas of expertise include: Business Development; Assessing, Evaluating and Analyzing Credit Risk; Preparing and Presenting Reports, with extensive work experience in Credit Products Development, Environmental & Social Risk Management and Structured Facilities, alongside strong Communication Skills and Team leadership.
Anthony holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST); Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon as well as Advance Diploma in Business and Accounting, Professional Certificate in Structured International Trade Finance.
